2 women injured in crash on Lincoln Drive

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Two women are in the hospital after a car plowed into a rock wall on Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park section.

It happened around 1 a.m. Saturday just past School House Lane.

Police say the women were traveling westbound when the driver lost control and slammed into the rock wall.

Both women were injured and taken to Jefferson University Hospital.

They are expected to be OK.

Lincoln Drive was closed during the investigation, but has since reopened.
