Two people, and a pedestrian were injured after a two vehicle crash in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section.

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Two people, and a pedestrian were injured after a two vehicle crash in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section.

The crash happened before 12:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Germantown Avenue and 16th Street.

The two vehicle crash sent one car on to its side. That driver was pinned in the vehicle, and had to be rescued.

The driver and a passenger were injured. Both were taken to the hospital with multiple injuries. They are in serious, but stable condition.

The other driver in the second vehicle was not hurt.

Police say there was a pedestrian standing near a parked car at the time of the crash, and that person suffered a minor injury.

Police don't know yet what caused the wreck.
