3 hurt in Franklin Twp., N.J. crash

FRANKLIN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Three people were injured after two vehicles collided Wednesday in Franklin Township, Gloucester County.

The accident happened around 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of Weymouth and South Blue Bell roads.

County officials say between three and five people were trapped in the wreckage.

At least three medical helicopters are being dispatched to the scene. No word on the extent of the injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
