3 injured when vehicles overturn on Schuylkill Expressway

Three people were injured in a mutli-vehicle crash on the Schuylkill Expressway in Conshohocken.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday in the eastbound lanes just west of the Blue Route.

Authorities say at least five vehicles collided. Two of them overturned.

Three people were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The exact cause of the crash is still unclear.

Police continue to investigate.
