Atlantic City mayor involved in crash with child

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian was involved in an accident Saturday afternoon involving a child.

He was driving in front of the High Gate Apartments on Route 30 when a 7-year-old girl ran onto the road and hit the rear door of his car.

She suffered minor injuries.

The mayor was not ticketed since the accident was deemed unavoidable.
