Car accident breaks water hydrant in Wynnefield

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- A minor car accident caused a fire hydrant to break, sending water all over an already icy Philadelphia street.

It happened along the 2400 block of North 52nd Street in the city's Wynnefield neighborhood.

The impact of the crash knocked the hydrant off the ground.

Water crews arrived to turn off the hydrant. They will make repairs sometime this weekend.

There were no reports of any injuries.

There was no damage to any of the homes.
