Police say one person is dead after a crash on northbound Route 130 in Burlington, New Jersey.

BURLINGTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say one person is dead and another hospitalized after a violent, single-vehicle crash on northbound Route 130 crash New Jersey.

Police say 32-year-old Nathaniel Gray of Clementon died at the scene, while 37-year-old Rashon Causey of Burlington City is in stable condition at a hospital with head and facial injuries and broken ribs.

Police do not yet know who was driving.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday near Beverly Road in Burlington.

Police say it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole, splitting the car in two.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed a silver-colored sedan in two pieces.

The back half of the car was located more than a hundred feet from the front half.
