VIDEO: Driver crashes car into tree in West Oak Lane
A driver was hurt and had to be rescued from a vehicle after crashing into a tree in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia early Friday morning.

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Police say a driver is being tested and held for DUI after crashing his car into a tree in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section early Friday morning.

The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and West Cheltenham Avenue.

Police say the 26-year-old man lost control of his vehicle.

The vehicle struck a tree and the victim was trapped and had to be extricated.

He was taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries in stable condition.

He is being held for Driving under the influence, police say.
