Driver faces DUI after crashing into police cruiser

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Investigators say that that a drunk driver crashed into a police cruiser in North Philadelphia.

It happened just after 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of North Front Street and East Indiana Avenue.

Authorities say an intoxicated man slammed into the police car.

Fortunately no one was injured.

The driver was taken into custody.
