1 person hurt in truck crash in Old City

OLD CITY (WPVI) -- One person was injured after two trucks collided in the Old City section of Philadelphia.

The crash happened before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 6th and Race streets.

The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles into a barrier wall on the National Constitution Center property.

There was some damage to the wall, officials say.

One driver suffered an eye injury and was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out.

Traffic had to be detoured on the block.
