I-95 reopens in both directions after crash near Del. state line

LOWER CHICHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- All lanes of I-95 are back open after a multi-vehicle crash approaching the Delaware state line in Lower Chichester Township.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Police tell Action News three vehicles collided: a large box truck and two passenger cars.

One person was trapped and had to be rescued from the wreckage.

The other victims managed to get out of their vehicles.

All were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.

Lanes were blocked in both directions as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

All lanes were back open by 6:30 a.m.

Motorists were advised to expect continued delays in the area.
