Man recovering after being struck by car in Olney

OLNEY (WPVI) -- A man is recovering after he was struck by a car near SEPTA's Olney Transportation Center overnight.

It happened around midnight at Broad Street and Chew Avenue.

Police say the impact sent the 64-year-old man up on the hood of the car and smashed the windshield.

The driver stopped just after the accident.

The victim was rushed to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.
