A 23-year-old man walking along the Roosevelt Boulevard was hit and killed late Friday night.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 23-year-old man walking along the Roosevelt Boulevard was hit and killed late Friday night.

It happened around 11:25 p.m. when the victim stepped into the path of a vehicle in the 6300 block near Bustleton Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.

Medics rushed the victim to Aria-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the driver, who stopped, was traveling with the green light.

So far, there is no word on any charges against the 52-year-old driver. She is being tested on suspicion of DUI.

Police have not released the victim's name.
