Minivan strikes motorcycle in West Philadelphia hit-and-run, 2 hurt

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were injured after a motorcycle was struck by a minivan in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday morning in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. at 59th and Walnut streets.

Police say the victims were the motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man, and 26-year-old female passenger.

The male is in critical condition, while the female is in stable condition.

The driver of the minivan left the vehicle behind and fled the scene on foot.

Police have impounded the minivan hoping to uncover clues to the driver's identity.
