SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle accident in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 63rd Street and Lindbergh Boulevard.

Police say a 40-year-old male motorcyclist was speeding when he lost control and crashed into a taxi.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The taxi driver was not hurt.
