Motorist injured in crash on I-95 in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police were on the scene of a crash on I-95.

It happened before noon Friday in the southbound lanes near Churchman's Marsh.

Images from the Action Cam at the scene showed first responders working to free a man from a maroon Mercedes.

The rescue took about 20 minutes.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to Christiana Hospital to be treated for head injuries.

There was no immediate word on his condition or what led to the crash.
