PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash has slowed traffic on Route 1 in Philadelphia.
It happened after 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes just south of the Fox Street exit.
Images from Sky 6 near the scene showed a white sedan that appeared to have spun off the road and up an embankment.
Several other vehicles were stopped at the scene. One was facing perpendicular to the normal flow of traffic.
There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.
Two southbound lanes were fully blocked, and traffic was getting by in only the left lane.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
