Officers lift car to save woman struck in Drexel Hill
Three Upper Darby police officers and an emergency responder banded together to lift a car off a woman, who was stuck underneath after being struck.

DREXEL HILL, Pa. (WPVI) -- Three Upper Darby police officers and an emergency responder banded together to lift a car off a woman, who was stuck underneath after being struck.

The 38-year-old woman was jogging near State Road and Harper Avenue in Drexel Hill, when she was hit by an 86-year-old man on his way to church.

She became trapped, and officers worked together to free her.

She was rushed to Lankenau Hospital and is in critical condition.

The driver did stop at the scene.

Investigators say it was an accident, and no foul play is involved.
