Owner tries to stop thief in carjacking

This is newly-released surveillance of an attempted carjacking in Washington State.

The vehicle's owner returned just in time.

He hops in the car as the thief tries to speed away.

The sedan spins out while the pair struggles inside.

The fight then spills out into the gas station parking lot.

When police arrived, they found the thief with a small folding knife and 13 shaved keys used for stealing cars.
