EB Pennsylvania Turnpike back open after tractor-trailer crash in Bucks County

BRISTOL TWP.,. Pa. (WPVI) -- Traffic is moving again on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after a crash involving two cars and a tractor-trailer in Bristol Township, Bucks County.

The crash happened at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes in the construction zone between the Delaware Valley exit and the Delaware River Bridge.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed a gray sedan and a blue sedan which appeared to have collided in the left lane. Both had extensive damage.

A tractor-trailer was parked a short distance away in the right hand shoulder.

Action News is told one person was hurt. The injury was described as non-life-threatening.

All eastbound traffic was blocked approaching the scene as police investigated and crews worked to removed the wrecked cars.

All lanes were back open by 12:30 p.m.
