Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in South Jersey

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in Maple Shade, New Jersey Tuesday night.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on eastbound Route 73 just east of Route 38.

Police say the driver did stop at the scene.

The victim's identity has not been released.

No word if the driver will face any charges.

Police are investigating.
