Pedestrian struck and killed in South Jersey

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was killed trying to cross a Burlington County street.

The accident occurred before 3 a.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes of Route 73 at Waverly Lane in Maple Shade, New Jersey.

The pedestrian died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped nearby.

So far, there's no word if any charges will be filed.
