Pedestrian struck, killed walking home from work in Atlantic County

ABSECON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian walking along Route 30 in Absecon, New Jersey.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on the eastbound lanes near Mill Road.

Police say the male victim was walking home from work when he was struck.

The driver of the car stopped after the accident. There will be no charges filed.

Police have not released the victim's name.
