Person struck and killed by train in Norwood, Delaware County

NORWOOD Pa. (WPVI) -- Delaware County authorities are investigating a fatal train accident in Norwood.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the unit block of West Winona Avenue.

Officials say a person was struck and killed by an Amtrak train.

SEPTA suspended service on the Wilmington Line while police investigated, but normal service has since resumed.

Passengers may experience residual delays of up to 30 minutes.
