Power restored after outage affected traffic lights in Cherry Hill

A power outage was reported around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, knocking out the traffic lights at Kresson and Cropwell Roads.

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Power has been restored after an earlier outage affected traffic flow in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The outage was reported around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday and shut down the traffic lights at Kresson and Cropwell Roads.

Police set up flares and were directing traffic through the busy intersection.

Cherry Hill Police say power was restored about an hour later.

There was no immediate word what caused the outage.
