Overturned tractor-trailer blocks ramp
A portion of the Blue Route (I-476) in Delaware County was shut down for more than five hours after a crash involving an overturned tractor trailer.

WOODLYN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A portion of the Blue Route (I-476) in Delaware County was shut down for more than five hours after a crash involving an overturned tractor trailer.

It incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Chopper 6 was over the northbound lanes, near exit 1, in Woodlyn.

Police tell Action News the driver of the tractor trailer lost control coming off of the southbound lanes of I-95.

The big rig landed on its side, blocking the ramp from I-95 southbound to I-476 northbound.

The ramp remained shut down for more than five hours as crews worked to offload the truck's contents, then clear the disabled vehicle.

Nobody was hurt, but traffic was detoured for quite some time.
