Schuylkill Expressway eastbound reopens at Montgomery Drive after crash

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- The eastbound lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway near Montgomery Drive are open again after a crash.

That crash happened around 5 a.m. when, police say, a driver lost control, hitting a concrete barrier separating the eastbound and westbound lanes.

That barrier was then knocked into the roadway.

PennDOT crews were called to the scene to make repairs.

The highway reopened around 7:30 a.m.
