CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WPVI) -- Police say a toddler behind the steering wheel of an SUV damaged a business in Virginia.

A crumbled wall was left behind at Adam's Automotive after an SUV slammed into it.

Police say the mother got out of her car to pump gas across the street.

Her 2-year-old daughter somehow climbed out of her car seat and put the car in neutral.

Surveillance video shows the SUV start to roll, cross 4 lanes of traffic, roll down an embankment and into the auto shop.

"Soon as it hit, I jumped up," said store manager Tony Price. "Mom was frantic. She had scooped her little daughter out of the car. Everybody was fine."

The surveillance video shows a car passing just seconds before the SUV rolled across the road.

Police say it was fortunate no one was hurt.
