A crash involving a trash truck shut down a road in Northeast Philadelphia Monday morning.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A crash involving a trash truck shut down a road in Northeast Philadelphia Monday morning.

It happened at 5:30 a.m. on the 11000 block of Knights Road.

Police tell Action News the crash knocked down a utility pole, sending wires across the road.

Knights Road was closed between Fairdale and Chalfont Roads while crews made repairs.

Peco tells Action News no power outages have been reported in the area.

There were no reports of any injuries.
