Virginia boy, 12, drives 300 miles to South Carolina

A 12-year-old boy from Virginia is in police custody and in a lot of trouble.

He skipped school and took his dad's pickup truck on a 300-mile joy ride.

Another driver saw the truck driving erratically on Interstate-95 in South Carolina yesterday afternoon, and called 911.

Police pulled the boy over and found two guns in the truck.

Officers contacted his parents, who hadn't noticed their 12-year-old son was missing.

He's now being held in a juvenile facility in South Carolina.
