Woman struck by stolen vehicle in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A suspect is in custody after a woman was struck by a stolen vehicle in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday at New York and Atlantic Avenues.

Authorities say the driver was fleeing from police when the victim was hit while getting out of her car.

The striking vehicle was reportedly stolen in the Pleasantville area, police say.

One person was apprehended.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
