VIDEO: Pilots fired for pictures with Playboy model
Two pilots for an airline in Argentina have been fired. The airline was not happy about their selfies in the cockpit with a Playboy model mid-flight.

Two airline pilots were fired after inviting a model into the cockpit to take selfies, and even control the plane's throttle.

The pilots for an Argentinian airline let the actress/model in the cockpit of the commuter jetliner as it taxis to the runway.

The woman can be heard on video asking if she can help increase the speed before she puts her hand on the throttle as the pilots power up for take off.

She then snaps Selfies with the pilots - who have their backs to the controls.

"She should have never been in the cockpit in the first place," said ABC News aviation consultant, Steve Gaynard. "It's stupid to be taking selfies. You don't want your taxi driver texting while you're driving, so you don't want your airline pilot taking selfies while you're airborne."

During the landing, she lets out a sound as the pilots approach the runway.

The next day, the pilots were fired from the Argentinian airline and the model was banned for 5 years from flying with them.

Here in the United States, the FAA has strict rules about this.

"The level of professionalism in the US pilots is so far beyond this. It's highly unlikely that something like this would happen in the US," said Gaynard.

The selfies in the sky went viral after the model shared them with her 405,000 followers on Twitter.
