PHILADELPHIA -- With summer vacations over and kids heading back to school, SEPTA says it will add express bus service to help alleviate the commuter crunch on Regional Rail lines.

Some regional rail lines are still operating at a limited capacity, because the agency has yet to fix each defective train car pulled from service this summer.

The bus service will operate during the morning and evening rush hours, starting September 6.

Regular transit fares will apply.
