SEPTA officials say they have reached a tentative agreement with one of two unions representing their Regional Rail workers.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- SEPTA officials say they have reached a tentative agreement with one of two unions representing their Regional Rail workers.

The tentative agreement is with members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union, which represents about 216 SEPTA employees.

If union workers approve the new deal, SEPTA officials expect to sign it at a specially scheduled board meeting.

SEPTA is still working to reach an agreement with members of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainsmen (BLET). That union represents about 202 employees.

Talks with that union are still continuing.
