VIDEO: Great Adventure unveils new thrill ride

JACKSON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New thrills are planned at Great Adventure in 2015.

The Six Flags theme park in Jackson Township, New Jersey announced plans to build the Looping Dragon.

The ride will rocket 24 people forward and backward pendulum-style, until the ride completes a full revolution seven stories in the air.

Riders are suspended upside down and then the ride will reverse direction.

Look for this new coaster this coming spring.
