CAPE MAY, N.J. -- Move over Napa, there's a new wine region to tour and its right here in our own backyard.

"What that means is that we're going to be able to put Cape May Peninsula on the label and people will know just like Napa that the grapes come from that area," said Alfred "Al" Natali, Co-Owner of Natali Vineyards.

Because of its position between the bay and the ocean, the region is able to enjoy longer growing seasons.

Natali agrees, "Because the water has this moderating effect, it doesn't get nearly so cold in the winter time and it doesn't get nearly so hot in the summer time and that's what the vines like."

The vineyard provides a fun and relaxing environment along with a unique wine tasting experience.

Their bestseller is "Nonno's Cellar Wine", a red wine with a bold taste and rich history.

They also sell unique varieties such as "Beach Plum Wine", made from a wild fruit that only grows on the East Coast.

Ray Pensari, Co-Owner of Natali Vineyards says, "We sell it off as being grandpa's wine that he made down in the cellar years ago."
