Woman injured after crashing car into West Philadelphia home

WEST PHILADELPHIA -- A woman was injured after crashing her car into a home in West Philadelphia.

The accident was reported around 9 p.m. Friday at 48th Street and Haverford Avenue.

Police say the driver went off the roadway, hit the side of a house and flipped over.

The woman was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police have not said what led her to veer off the road.
