Vehicle crashes into home in Belvedere, Delaware

BELVEDERE, Del. (WPVI) -- It was a rude awakening for a homeowner when a driver lost control, traveled through some trees and hit the home on the other side.

The car had been traveling on Newport Gap Pike in Belvedere, Delaware just before 4 a.m. Saturday when it crashed through the trees and hit the home on the unit block of Lloyd Street.

The accident caused minor damage to the home.

Luckily, no one was hurt.
