Victim fatally shot in car in Lawncrest section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting in the city's Lawncrest section.

Officers responded to the 600 block of East Godfrey Avenue after 10 p.m. Friday for the report of a shooting.

They found a man inside a car with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are working to determine who killed him.
