For the second day in a row, the high in Philadelphia climbed to 72. That's six degrees above average with wall to wall sunshine.

TONIGHT: Skies are clear again with a cool low of 54 in Philadelphia and outlying suburbs dipping in to the mid to upper 40s.

FRIDAY: This is yet another mainly sunny and pleasant day with an afternoon high around 74.

SATURDAY: Sunshine mixes with some high clouds as we begin to come under the influence of a cold front that will be slowly approaching from the west, but it's still a nice, bright day overall with a slightly warmer high of 76.

SUNDAY: Sun and high clouds mix once again. It's still dry and warm in the afternoon with another high around 76.

MONDAY: Any morning sunshine gives way to increasing clouds during the day with a warm high of 77. It will be very mild for the Eagles Monday Night Football game, with temperatures starting out in the low 70s and end in the upper 60s, so temperature-wise, it's a pretty nice night for late October football!

TUESDAY: Clouds build in with an arriving cold front and rain is likely. Some of the rain could be heavy, especially later in the day or at night. The high drops to 70.

WEDNESDAY: Look for a mix of clouds and sun with a lingering shower here and there if the front is slow to depart the region. We have a cooler high of 64.

THURSDAY: Look for partly sunny skies with a seasonable, chilly high of just 62.
