TODAY: Summer is here (official arrival: 6:07 a.m.)! A few showers are possible in the morning, but clouds will give way to increasing sunshine in the afternoon. A pop-up afternoon shower could linger closer to the coast. The high is 85.

TONIGHT: We have partly cloudy skies and seasonable low around 67.

FRIDAY: Clouds will increase ahead of an approaching warm front. A few showers are possible during the afternoon with steadier rain likely at night. The high is a cooler 76.

SATURDAY: This is an unsettled day with a warm front/cold front combination slowly crawling through the region. Look for mostly cloudy and humid conditions with numerous showers and thunderstorms around, some of which could produce a downpour. The High: 81.

SUNDAY: It's still warm, humid and somewhat unsettled with partial sunshine and a stray afternoon thunderstorm possible. But there is far less rain around on this day than there was on Saturday and some areas will probably stay dry. The high shoots up to 88.

MONDAY: A shower in the morning should end rather quickly. After that, humidity drops and we see a change to partly sunny skies with a nice afternoon high of 81.

TUESDAY: Look for a largely sunny afternoon with a nice early-summer high of 82.

WEDNESDAY: Our stretch of nice weather continues with a partly sunny, seasonably warm afternoon high of 86.

THURSDAY: Sun mixes with clouds. A spotty shower or thunderstorm is possible during the afternoon and evening. The high is quite warm: 88.
