For the second day in a row, the high climbed into the 90's. In Philadelphia, we reached 91 degrees, 16 degrees above average and just one degree shy of our record high. Allentown tied a record high of 92.

AT THE SHORE: We have a high risk of rip currents and rough surf again today. Swimmers should use extreme caution and not venture out too deep. Hurricane Maria is approaching from the south which will spur continued surf issues for at least the next few days, although the storm itself is expected to move out to sea before it makes it up to our latitude.

TONIGHT: Look for mostly clear skies and a mild, muggy low around 69.

TUESDAY: The heat ratchets down a bit, but it's still warm and humid. Sun mixes with clouds. The high is 86.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds and sun mix again. It's still warm and humid. The high climbs yo 88.

THURSDAY: Look for partly sunny skies with a possible shower in spots as a cold front moves through. It's breezy and the high drops to 82.

FRIDAY: After a week of above normal temperatures to begin the fall season, it finally starts feeling like autumn! Look for lots of sun, a cool breeze and a high around 75.

SATURDAY: We'll see a mix of clouds and sunshine with the chance of a shower or two. It's seasonably cool with a high of 69.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies. It's still cool with a high around 71.

MONDAY: Look for plenty of sunshine with a seasonable high around 73.
