After a quick hit of morning rain, partly sunny skies returned today behind a departing cold front. The high hit 57, three degrees above normal. Winds behind that front picked up to 15-25 MPH with gusts in the 30 MPH range this afternoon. Those winds will die down fairly quickly once the sun sets.

TONIGHT: We have general clearing, but colder air arrives and we get a low all the way down to 30 in Philadelphia. Some suburbs could dip into the mid 20s.

THURSDAY (THANKSGIVING): It will be a cold start for parade-goers with sunrise temperatures near freezing. By noon, we'll only be getting into the low 40s. However, it will be a mostly sunny day with winds light enough to allow for the big balloons to fly. Look for an afternoon high of 46.

FRIDAY: Sun will mix with a few clouds, but it's generally bright and nice. Morning lows are in the low 30s at dawn with an afternoon high of 54.

SATURDAY: We have partly sunny skies with a sprinkle or very light shower possible, mainly at night. It's breezy at times, with a high of 58.

SUNDAY: Chilly air returns with a mix of clouds and some sun. A spotty shower can't be ruled out during the afternoon. The high drops to 48. Bundle up if you're heading to Lincoln Financial Field for the 1 p.m. Eagles game. Winds will gust near 30 mph at times.

MONDAY: This is a mostly sunny, but brisk and chilly day with a high of 50.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny skies are expected with a milder high around 58.

WEDNESDAY: Mix of clouds and sunshine and continued mild. The high climbs to 60.
