AccuWeather: Comfortable Tonight, Next Wave of Rain Arrives Wednesday

Morning clouds and lingering showers gave way to a sunny afternoon with lowering humidity. The high in Philadelphia hit 88 degrees, so the past three days fell short of our official heat wave of the year.

TONIGHT: Skies are partly cloudy. It's dry and comfortable with a low of 68.

WEDNESDAY: Some sun is in store in the morning, but clouds build as the day goes on and we get a round of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night time. The high drops to 84.

THURSDAY: Lingering morning showers give way to sunshine and dropping humidity. The high hits 85.

FRIDAY: Sun mixes with some clouds and we get a nice afternoon high around 82. A stray shower is possible at night as a warm front moves in.

SATURDAY: Its mostly cloudy with some scattered showers and thunderstorms. Our high is 81.

SUNDAY: Clouds mix with sun. A lingering shower is possible, but most of the day should be dry. The high is 87.

MONDAY: Look for partly sunny skies with lowering humidity. Our high is 81.

TUESDAY: This is a mostly sunny day with a seasonable high around 82.
