AccuWeather: Snow Hits During Rush Hour

Meteorologist Melissa Magee says about 1-3" of snow is expected between 1 and 8 p.m. with the highest amounts likely in South Jersey and Delaware.

TODAY: Look for increasing clouds and the arrival of snow during the early afternoon from west to east.

The snow continues through the evening rush. 1-3" in general accumulation is expected, with the higher amounts likely in South Jersey and Delaware. The high: 32.

This means the snow will be falling and creating hazardous conditions during the evening commute.
TONIGHT: The snow tapers off quickly during the early evening and skies clear overnight. It's cold and somewhat brisk with a low of 26.
SATURDAY: Clouds will mix with some sun. Winds are blustery with gusts between 25 or 35 mph. The high is a chilly 42.

SUNDAY: Any morning sunshine will give way to increasing clouds. It's likely dry based on the most recent model runs, but still chilly with a high around 41.

MONDAY: Clouds hang tough with only a few sunny breaks. Some spotty showers are possible at times. The high climbs to a much milder 49.

TUESDAY: This is a much deserved, pleasant day. Look for a partly sunny skies with a milder high around 54.

WEDNESDAY: It's partly sunny and cooler behind a weak passing boundary. Look for a chilly breeze and a high of 45.

THURSDAY: This is a yet another good looking day with partly sunny skies and a cool high around 47.

FRIDAY: Look for a milder afternoon, but with plenty of clouds and a bit of rain at times. The high is 54.
