WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Officials say heavy downpours led to power problems in Wilmington, Delaware Monday morning.
Power outages were first reported at 6:30 a.m. Monday as heavy rain moved through the area.
At one point, 1300 customers were in the dark.
Police had to direct traffic through several major intersections.
By 11:00 at least half of the affected customers had their electricity back.
Delmarva Power expected all service to be restored by 2:00 p.m.
