Philadelphia Public Schools athletic activities canceled Saturday due to heat

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia School District has canceled all athletic events Saturday due to the heat advisory.

On Friday the intense heat forced schools to have an early dismissal.

AccuWeather says it will be hazy, hot and humid.

And the heat advisory will remain in effect until 7 p.m. with indexes today over 100 degrees.
