The Philadelphia International Airport plans to "gradually" resume operations Sunday after it cancelled all flights on Saturday due to blizzard conditions, officials say.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia International Airport is "gradually" resuming operations Sunday after it cancelled all flights on Saturday due to blizzard conditions, officials say.

"A number of airlines will have reduced arrivals, departures @PHLAirport Sunday Jan 24. Check flight status w/ your carrier b4 coming to PHL," the airport tweeted Sunday morning.

The airport released the following statement on Saturday night:

Weather permitting, Philadelphia International Airport expects to resume operations gradually on Sunday. A number of airlines are planning to have a reduced schedule of arrivals and departures. Passengers should check with their carrier before coming to the Airport, or go to PHL.org or call 1-800-PHL-GATE.
