HILLTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Some areas of Bucks County got a bit more snow than other parts of the Philadelphia region, but it still wasn't enough to cause major problems.

We found plenty of kids enjoying the snow day at a sledding hill in Doylestown on Tuesday afternoon.

Still, we found at least one person who was disappointed by the less-than-expected snowfall.

"Actually I'm a little disappointed. I always like one good snowstorm a year," said Natalie Ryan of Chalfont.

Also let down was a snow plow driver who gets paid per job.

"We went out from the beginning and we had to stay out because we didn't know what was going on," said Gage Goodwin of Sellersville. When asked if he had a lot to do, he said "Not as much as we were hoping."

Traffic wasn't an issue since school was cancelled and many people stayed home from work.

"Oh, it's not bad at all, it was way less than we expected, but it's nice to have the day off," said Cory Kieschnick of Chalfont.

Cory was making the most of it with the kids. They walked to breakfast and then headed to a day of sledding.

It was baby Eloise's first winter, but first grader Ainslee is already an old hand with snow days.

"I like to build snowmans," she said.

While it was fun for some, it was a day of work for Shedal brothers in Hilltown.

They were out shoveling the driveway, although dad already did most of the heavy lifting.

"It's pretty light. My dad was out here earlier shoveling most of it. My brother and I have the light stuff to do," said Judd Shedal.

Dean Sulimay, the owner of The Hair Salon in Chalfont, had an easier time of it with his snow blower. He made quick work of the snow in the parking lot and on the sidewalk.

Anything to keep the customers happy and safe.

"So far, we have one car in the lot, but you never know. You'd be amazed at what women will do to get their hair done, they'll trudge through anything," Sulimay said.
