It's been snowing most of the day in Chester County.

EXTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- By noon Wednesday a thick snow was already falling on parts of Chester County.

Action News was in Exton where the snow turned to slush on the roadway. Some vehicles slid a bit, but it wasn't overly slippery.

Snow plows and salt trucks are working to keep the roads clear.

The snow isn't stopping the pre-Thanksgiving rush. Whether it's running errands or finishing up at work, many people are finding themselves rushing around in the snow.

Justin Young of Broomall tells us, "You work inside fixing windows, or something like that, but you can't work on houses in this weather."

Young works for a home remodeling company. He says the snow means he will likely get sent home early... and he's not complaining.

"Everyone wants to go home on the holidays," he said.

Russell Windle of Media says, "If you don't have to go out, don't. If you do, don't be crazy with your speed or going to slow. Just try to go with the slow of the traffic."
